I haven't used acrylics in over a year and a half, so I wanted to get back into it! I've also gotten really frustrated with my style of painting....I take forever using millions of layers and try to make everything perfect. It's really annoying, and so last night I decided to paint really fast and see what would happen. I wanted to make something messy and more fun. This took 3 hours tops, and while I didn't use the layering/glazing technique that I have in the past, the result still looks really similar. All well, I guess old habits die hard. I will be messier next time!
When my mom saw this, she first thought it was my boyfriend. Then she saw the microphone and thought it was Elvis LOLLLL!
Bellamy (from the band MUSE, of course) is fucking sexy as hell. If I ever meet him in real life I will tear his clothes off. The painting doesn't do him much justice, but then again I did pick a crappy reference XD. This is from a 2000 live performance of "Plug in Baby," during which he was looking particularly--ok, I need to stop, I'm getting a little obsessive.
I will be trying some more speedpaints soon, maybe some more Muse on the way

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
