Lost

Info:
Acrylic painting on 36"x48" stretched canvas, and completed over the course of one week. Only modification = levels adjusted slightly to match the colors of the real painting.

Ah, my first attempt with such a large canvas. I was so afraid at first XD. The model is a friend named Rob. This was one of my favorite paintings, despite numerous flaws (uneven paint, pencil lines showng through, stupid stuff like that), and I probably spent the least amount of time thinking it out because the idea came to me right away My biggest problem with it is the fish--they were supposed to be more ghost-like. Eh, maybe I'll go back and fix it later XD!

This was the piece that started my concentration idea for AP, "lost in thought." I found the title to be even more fitting after hearing "Cold Water" (by Damien Rice)

surrounds me now
and all I've got

EDIT: that gray spot in the upper left corner is bothering me. I hate photographing paintings!!!!
